cricket

On thursday morning the block played cricket on the field.first we walked on the field. Last week we learnt how to bowl. What you have to do is get your arm and put it over your head straight then make your fingers a peace sign. It is hard bowling. Sadly i wasn't the week before that then we tried to hit the wickets with balls. I felt clumsy because i had been playing cricket for 4 years and i missed every ball.

Today we are learning how to post a story and a photo on our blogs. I am using my very own Chromebook for the first time. We can do lots of fun things with our Chromebooks. Thank you to my whanau for giving me this lovely present.

the block goes swimming

Line tag

On wednesday morning the block played line tag on the court. So miss king said go scramble around the court. I dashed to the corner but out of nowhere nikau bumped into me and i fell off the line. Sadly the game ended. So we sat on the mat and went into our groups and started writing our recount. The game was hard because the taggers were fast like flash.

Dear 2019 teachers,

My name is Jacob. The things that make me happy is cool games like scratch and HEIHEI. I learn best without talking to my friends, so I like to have a separate table just for me. The things that make me mad are people swearing at me. My favourite subject is maths, I like learning my times tables, maths is easy. My best friends are Vaha Uluaki and William. I don’t like taking books home or else I might lose them. The things that I mostly like is nice things like the teacher I like cats and haunted house books.
